How did this all start?

What made us want to jump into an excruciatingly demanding service - supporting the payment processing, point of sale & marketing for businesses like yours?

Well, I'll give you the answer...

I was hired by a large POS (point of sale) system company, that you may have heard of.

My job was sales. They trained me. Gave me the indoctrination on why their product was the best. Then sent me out there to help businesses like yours - with no experience.

Crazy right?

There was so much wrong with the company... Where do I even begin?

I, along with most of the other sales reps at my company (and other companies too), were not prepared to be there for the business owners that signed up for our services.

Why?

We were not anything more than a sales rep. As soon as the sale was complete, we had to GO, and I mean go, hustle to make another sale.

The company I worked for was aggressive about keeping me producing.

The issue I saw with this was I wanted to help support the business owners who signed up with me, but I couldn't! I wasn't really allowed to provide customer service after the sale. I was directed to send them to customer service, while I go back to selling, whenever one of them called me with a question.

Furthermore, all around me, I saw sales reps at my company consistently being fired or quitting, thereby completely disappearing as a whole from being able to provide customer service for the business owners who had signed up with them.

I recognized that my customers, although I was limited in being able to help them (since I was directed to focus on selling) would be completely and utterly left without me when I left the company eventually (nothing lasts forever).

As mentioned earlier, I was paying attention to the other POS companies too, and they were giving their clients the same predicament.

The real issue: business owners wanted a partner, not a temporarily-present sales rep and a 1-800 number to call and wait on hold with, as soon as their sales rep got the deal.

I saw that business owners yearned for a real partner, who wasn't biased in the POS system they were selling, was present AFTER they signed up, could provide custom technology tailored to their needs (not a mass-produced POS that didn't fit their needs) and could real, local support for them, that was there as their business grew and changed over time (without having to call a 1-800 number, wait on hold and talk to someone they couldn't hear, OR wonder where their sales rep went that promised them the world, then disappeared).

Whew...

I know that was a lot, but basically -

I saw that business owners needed and were worthy of BETTER.
